Job Description
Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (on site)
Duration: Full time
Roles:
- Designing Education Literature(शिक्षा साहित्य) text books for Eklavya Publications
- Creating book layouts (includes setting master pages, paragraph styles & other layout formatting on InDesign)
- Designing book covers
- Commissioning illustrators whenever required
- Making the books ready for press production
- Designing print materials to be used in Field Programs of Eklavya
- Posters, brochures, booklets, book packages etc
- Creating promotional content for publication titles and events
- Social media promotion posts & posters for publication titles & events
- Helping with miscellaneous design requirements in the office
Expectations:
- Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop
- Compulsory knowledge of Microsoft Word, Google drive
- Preference to knowledge of CorelDraw, Microsoft Powerpoint
- Experience in working with editors, other designers & the press
- Fluency in reading and working with हिंदी which is the language of most of our content. And a working knowledge of English will be helpful.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in designing book layouts, text-heavy layout templates and other print publications
- Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design or Applied Arts (not compulsory if there is sufficient work experience)
Salary: ₹ 28,000 - ₹ 35,000 (negotiable, based on existing work experience and skills)
