Justin isn't the biggest plane in Landguard Airport, in fact he is probably the smallest plane there. Justin isn't the fastest plane either. His engines are much smaller than the other aeroplanes in Landguard Airport.
Sadly, Justin sometimes gets picked on by some of the other bigger and faster aeroplanes.
Patrick is a much bigger aeroplane than Justin, he is much faster than Justin too but they are best friends. They have always been best friends ever since they both met each other at Landguard Airport. Patrick encourages Justin all the time, telling him to push himself and that he can always do more. This makes Justin very happy. Justin helps Patrick too, by listening to Patrick talk about difficult fights, bad weather. Justin always listens he likes to praise and encourage Patrick. They both help each other with problems or just to listen to each other.
Where as some of the other planes tease Justin because he is so small. They make fun of some of the jobs Justin has to do, for example delivering letters and parcels to other airports. Taking a few passengers short distances.
Harold is a much larger plane. He can travel very long distances and carry lots of passengers and all of their luggage to many destinations. Harold isn't very nice to Justin. He laughs at Justin, he tells Justin that he isn't a proper plane. He encourages some of the other larger planes to laugh at his cruel jokes about Justin. Harold calls Justin, Post Plane Justin.
Patrick tells Harold to stop teasing Justin, but sometimes Patrick is on a flight so he isn't there to say anything to Harold.

It is a beautiful, sunny morning. Landguard Airport is extremely busy, with lots of people going on holiday to all over the world.
Mr Pudding, who controls the smooth running of Landguard Airport is very busy today. He has many passengers and their luggage to sort. He also has many letters and parcels that need to be sent to another airport.

Good morning, Justin, Mr Pudding chuckled. We are very busy today. I was wondering if you could do me a huge favour this morning?
Justin was very excited. What did Mr Pudding need him to do. It must be something really important the way Mr Pudding is asking him.
 Oh yes, he answered excitedly.
Oh good. We have lots of letters and parcels that we need sent to Duckmouth Airport. No one else can do it today, then I thought of little Justin. Can you help me? PLEASE?
As Mr Pudding continued, Justin felt very sad, he thought that he was going to do something very important and different from his usual jobs. Justin looked around, he could see Harold and a couple of other planes laughing and calling him Post Plane Justin .
Mr Pudding saw how sad Justin looked, he had tears in his eyes. Mr Pudding looked around and saw Harold laughing at Justin, he pointed to Harold to move away.
Don't let Harold upset, Justin. Chuckled Mr Pudding, but Justin couldn't talk.
The jobs that you do are just as important as what all of the other planes have to do at Landguard Airport. Don't let Harold upset you with his silly jokes.
Mr Pudding tried to cheer Justin up, but it didn't work. All Justin could think about was Harold and his buddy s laughing and calling him Post Plane Justin .
Justin got loaded up with the letters and parcels that had to go to Duckmouth Airport. Justin tried to smile but he felt very sad. All he kept thinking about is how wonderful it would be to do the jobs all of the other planes do, like taking lots of passengers and their luggage on holiday. Instead of taking a few bags of letters and parcels to another city.
On his way to Duckmouth Airport Justin made friends with a swallow, a small black and white bird.
 What's your name? asked Justin.
 Noel. What's your name?
 I'm Justin-the-Aeroplane, he smiled.
Justin and Noel continued chatting. Noel had hurt his wing, he was struggling to fly, so Justin offered to fly Noel up north to Duckmouth Airport. Noel was visiting family up there.
As Justin came into land, he touched the tarmac extremely soft so that he didn't hurt Noel as he landed.
Thank you, so much Justin, Noel chirped.
 That's okay. I'm glad I could help.
Noel flew away to visit his family. Justin felt very happy with himself for helping Noel. Maybe Mr Pudding was right Justin thought, I am as important as the other planes at Landguard Airport.
Justin dropped off the letters and parcels at the Airport. He refuelled, had a rest before starting his journey back home.
As Justin flew home he was still very happy with himself for helping Noel. He could see Landguard Airport in the distance, he started to think about Harold and his nasty jokes. He felt sad again.
As he got a little closer to Landguard Airport he could see that a plane was in trouble. One of its wings had lots of black smoke coming from it.
Oh god, are you okay? Justin shouted.
My right engine isn't working, called the other plane.
As Justin got closer to the other plane, he realised that it was Harold. Harold desperately needed Justin's help, the smoke was getting thicker.
I'm going to help you Harold, called Justin.
Harold looked at Justin. It's you, how are you going to help me, you are too small, he grunted.
Well, I'm all you have and I'm here to help you. I think you need some help, Justin smiled, he felt very important.
Harold grunted again, you can't help me.
Justin was determined to help Harold and prove him wrong, that small planes can be useful. Justin slowly lifted Harold s smoky wing, he guided Harold into land. The passengers gasped as they watched. The other planes and Mr Pudding could see the thick, black smoke coming from Harold s wing. They all watched on helplessly as Justin guided Harold into land.
As Harold landed safely on the tarmac, the other planes burst into cheer, along with Harold s passengers. Everyone cheered for Justin.
Well done, my friend. You saved the day, Patrick smiled.
Justin looked puzzled. He only lifted Harold s wing and helped him to land safely, anyone could do that.
Mr Pudding walked over to Justin. I knew you were special Justin, he chuckled.
As everyone was celebrating Justin's bravery, Harold slowly moved towards Justin. Justin got nervous, what did he want.
Thank you so much, Justin, Harold began. You saved me and all my passengers today, I owe you. You are much more than a post plane. I was wrong and I'm sorry for upsetting you.
It's okay, Harold. He said with a huge smile.
Justin was so happy. This is his best day at Landguard Airport.
His best day ever.
