Of this, only 10.61 million were gra= nts; the remainder had been exported by Serum Institute of India (SII), p= artly to meet its contract with the COVAX alliance and partly as direct s= ale to foreign countries. India=E2=80=99s contribution to the global v= olume of doses of COVID-19 vaccines is 193 million, out of 929 million do= ses, which is 21%.
